Our directorate is a non-profit local public body located in the coastline of the large town of Kocaeli. Within the framework of its vision and mission, our directorate manages every educational activity in district which is a multi-cultured&industrial area via its units - such as Management, R&D, Assignment, Personnel management, law, accounting etc.Our directorate is a non-profit local public body located in the coastline of the large town of Kocaeli. It is responsible for administrative affairs of formal and non-formal education to-tally 135 schools including 19 primary, 15+12 secondary, 5 VET, special education, adult education center, school counseling services and plus many private ones by monitoring the implementation of educational policies. It has totally 58 members consisting of a director who is responsible for the management,4 department manager, 6 chiefs and officials working for the planning and coordination of all kinds of educational and training activities. At our public schools 2545 teachers and 41619 students take part within our directorate actively. Within the body of our directorate from kindergartens to high schools, between the age of 4-18, 41381 students get education at 58 different public schools.
